Quick Guide

Nexus

Relationship Intelligence Engine — model conversations, decode subtext, craft psychologically precise messages.

1 What is Nexus?

Nexus is a single HTML file that turns Claude into your personal relationship psychologist. You describe a relationship — the people, the history, the tension — and Nexus models every conversation before you send a single word.

It predicts responses, decodes hidden meaning, detects manipulation patterns, and crafts messages using 60+ psychological tactics from Cialdini, Kahneman, Gottman, and attachment theory.

Open nexus_v6.html in any browser. No install, no server, no build step. Everything runs locally — your data stays in your browser.

2 Getting Started

1
Log in — Username: friends Password: nexus2026
2
API Key — Get one from console.anthropic.com → API Keys. Enter it in the bottom-left of the main screen. It's stored locally and never sent anywhere except Anthropic's API.
3
Setup Wizard — 5 steps: the relationship, your personality (Big Five + attachment style), their personality, your goals, and recent messages. The more detail you give, the better the AI models.
4
Choose language — Click any language code (EN/DE/FR/ES/IT) in the header. Everything — including AI responses — switches to that language.

3 The 5 Tabs

The right panel has 5 tabs. The center shows the live relationship graph. The left panel shows analytics at a glance.

→ SIM — Message Simulator
Forward mode: Write a draft message → click "Simulate" → get 3 predicted responses with probabilities, emotional reasoning, and a Dynamic Shift analysis showing how your message changes the relationship.

Reverse mode: Describe the reaction you want (e.g. "they suggest meeting") → Nexus reverse-engineers messages that lead there.

Debate: After simulation, start the 3-voice debate — Optimistic, Realistic, and Neutral argue about the outcome. You can throw in objections and the debate continues.

Toolbox: Select psychology tactics → "Generate" creates a complete message from scratch, or "Weave" embeds them into your existing draft. Each tactic is annotated — you see exactly where it lives and how it works.
🧠 DECODE — Subtext Decoder
Paste any message from them. Nexus decodes it layer by layer: surface meaning → real meaning → deepest unspoken need. Shows interest level, attachment signal, window type (opening/closing), hidden feelings, and an exact response suggestion you can send directly to Sim.
📊 INTEL — Analytics Dashboard
All local analytics (no API needed) plus AI-powered radar:
Temperature — how hot/cold the conversation is trending
Emotional Trajectory — SVG timeline of emotional scores per message with turning points marked
Ghost Detection — early warning system (6 signals: shrinking messages, minimal responses, chasing pattern, no curiosity, cold tone, unanswered texts)
Gottman Ratio — positive:negative ratio (ideal 5:1)
Four Horsemen — detects Criticism, Contempt, Defensiveness, Stonewalling in your messages
Drama Triangle — detects if you're falling into Rescuer/Persecutor/Victim dynamics
Manipulation Radar — AI scans context against 60+ tactics, distinguishing attachment behavior from deliberate manipulation
💔 PROFILE — Deep Psychology
Woundmap: Core wound, deepest fear, the paradox, triggers, healing points, interest signals, communication guide — all based on their attachment style.

Sub-Personalities: How they behave in 6 contexts (alone with you, in groups, under stress, feeling safe, after conflict, when jealous) with openness percentages.

Timing Intelligence: AI calculates exact wait time, best time of day, frequency rules, double-text rules, and golden rules for this specific dynamic.
🧭 PATTERNS — Conversation Blueprints
8 proven conversation patterns with example dialogs: The Slow Burn Opener, Vulnerability Window, Callback Tease, Strategic Absence, Soft Close, Emotional Anchor, Reframe & Redirect, Ghost Prevention Protocol. Each shows difficulty, risk level, psychology, and which attachment styles respond best.

4 The 60+ Tactics

The Toolbox (inside the Sim tab) organizes tactics into 6 categories:

Attraction & Connection
12 tactics — mirroring, pedestal effect, contrast addiction, vulnerability as weapon...
Subtle & Invisible
16 tactics — smuggle questions, moving goalposts, language takeover, micro-undermining...
Classic & Direct
5 tactics — love bombing, gaslighting, hot-cold, isolation, threats & silence
Cialdini's 6 Principles
Reciprocity, commitment, social proof, authority, liking, scarcity
Cognitive Biases
7 Kahneman biases — anchoring, sunk cost, halo effect, loss aversion, confirmation, availability, framing
Dark Triad ⚠
8 advanced tactics — calculated charm, triangulation, future faking, trauma bonding... Toggle ON/OFF in left panel.
The Dark Triad category is hidden by default. Enable it with the skull toggle in the bottom-left panel. These are advanced psychological influence patterns — use for awareness and protection, not harm.

5 Saving & Loading

Your data auto-saves to your browser's localStorage every time you make a change. But you can also:

💾
Quick Save — Click the save icon (bottom-left or in the setup wizard). Name your save point (e.g. "After coffee date"). Load any save point instantly.
Export — Downloads a .json file with your entire context. Safe backup. Can be shared or moved to another device.
Import — Load a previously exported .json file. Restores everything — names, profiles, messages, goals.
Each user gets isolated data. If you log in as "ella", you see ella's data. Log in as "admin", you see admin's data. The API key is shared across users.

6 The Ideal Workflow

1
They send you a message → Go to Decode tab, paste it, decode the subtext.
2
Check Intel → Look at Ghost Detection, Temperature, Horsemen. Know the state of play.
3
Craft your response → Use the Toolbox to select tactics, generate or weave a message. Click "→ Simulate" to see predicted outcomes.
4
Debate it → Start the 3-voice debate. Throw in objections. Refine until confident.
5
Send it → Copy the final message. Add both your message and their response to the chat history so Nexus learns from every exchange.
Always add messages to the history after sending. The more messages Nexus has, the better it models the relationship. Temperature, Gottman, Ghost Detection, and Trajectory all improve with more data.

7 Pro Tips

The Graph
The center visualization is interactive. Drag nodes around. Hover for tooltips. After simulation, response nodes appear — bigger = higher probability. The graph rebuilds live as you type.
Live Tone Badges
As you type in the Sim draft, real-time badges appear: Anxious, Pushy, Cool, Warm. These check your tone before you even simulate — like a spell-check for emotional intelligence.
Reverse + Forward Combo
Use Reverse to find the ideal message → click "Use as Draft" → switch to Forward → Simulate to see predicted responses. Best of both worlds.
Patterns as Blueprints
Before drafting, check the Patterns tab. Find a pattern that matches your situation (e.g. "Ghost Prevention Protocol" if they're fading). Use it as a mental framework, then craft your specific message in the Toolbox.
