Withdrawal instructions

1. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal through our continuously available online function, Withdraw contract. If you use this online function, we make an acknowledgement available for immediate download after submission and normally also send it by email. It includes the content of your withdrawal statement and the date and time at which it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including any delivery costs (except for supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you requested that services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time at which you inform us of your withdrawal, compared with the full coverage of the services provided for in the contract. Compensation is payable only where the statutory conditions are met, in particular where you expressly requested early performance and were properly informed about the right of withdrawal and possible compensation.

3. Information about digital supplies

• For a paid service, the right of withdrawal may end before the withdrawal period expires only once the service has been performed in full, and only if before performance begins you expressly consented to early performance and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal ends upon complete performance (section 356(5) BGB).
• For paid digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may end when performance begins. This requires your prior express consent to performance beginning during the withdrawal period, your acknowledgement that the right will thereby be lost, and provision of the contract confirmation required by section 312f BGB (section 356(6) BGB).
• For paid services provided before withdrawal, proportionate compensation may be due only under the conditions of section 357a(2) BGB. No compensation is generally due when withdrawing from digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (section 357a(3) BGB).

The rule that applies depends on the specific contractual supply. These notes do not restrict your statutory rights.
